Fabric can be used for many things other than quilts. I used it to cover the headboard and footboard of my niece's bed. The bed was my parents', and it needed a new look for use by a teenage girl. Updating the furniture takes minimal sewing.
The footboard is covered in batting and muslin.
The fabric for the footboard just slides on.
The fabric for the headboard was stapled on.
This project took less than a week. I was really excited about it, and I didn't want my niece sleeping on the floor for too long!
