Wedding Bells

This Friday, Cathy and Allan's daughter, Sarah is getting married. The days leading up to the event promise to be exciting! Family is coming in, meals are being planned and last minute details are being taken care of.

You may remember that Cathy made a special quilt for her son Aric and his wife Jennifer for their wedding.

For Sarah she has created another amazing quilt, aptly named Sarah's Wedding Quilt. It is a gorgeous quilt that Cathy presented to Sarah at her shower.

Cathy also made quilts for the bridal party and in laws, as well as special centerpieces. She is going to photograph it all and we'll post it here next week. The weather is supposed to be 74 degrees and sunny - a wonderful start to their lives. We wish Sarah and Craig a lifetime of happiness!

Home Again, Home Again Jiggity Jig!

Cathy, Sue and Allan are all heading home from Market today. To quote Cathy, "We have so many new ideas I can't wait to start putting them into play!" They ordered over 50 new patterns, countless new fabrics and so much more that they had to get an extra suitcase to bring some of it home!

Cathy plans on featuring one new item from Market every week, starting next Tuesday. For today we decided to highlight our hats:
I myself have 12 hats, and each one represents a different personality.

Let's Go to the Tape...

The very talented Debby Brown quilted Sue's Always Believe quilt. Fabric Trends loved it so much they published it in their last magazine. Sue and Cathy gave tips in this blog about how to piece a block of Always Believe and NOW Debby has posted a video showing how she quilted a block.

Next up is Market!!! Cathy, Sue and Allan head out this week to take Utah by storm. They will return with new ideas, fabrics and soooo much more. We'll be posting what they learn and buy here.

Since they are heading out we will be closed at 5 on Thursday, other than that our hours will remain the same.
