Star Light, Star Bright

We have stars on our minds. This quilt was created for Cathy's sister, Anne, but we decided to call it Anniversary Star Quilt to give it a more universal appeal. We are going to be offering a class on this quilt beginning January. Kits will be available soon, we are working on the pricing.

News on our Open House this weekend - we will have a Janome educator here all day Saturday and Sunday to answer questions and offer demonstrations. On Friday, Saturday AND Sunday there will be ongoing HandiQuilter demonstrations. Be sure to stop by to take advantage of sales, snacks, and our Mistletoe and Holly themed store!

New Moda fabric - Lily Will has just come in and we made this fun baby quilt with it.

Head in the Clouds

We just got Cloud 9's new fabric line My Happy Nursery and we LOVE it.

It is more expensive than regular bolts of fabric, but it is better for the environment and the user. From Cloud 9's site - In our current economic environment a lot can be said through the spending of consumer dollars. While getting a good deal is always nice, it's also rewarding to know that one's hard-earned money is spent on quality and care in a grander sense. Cloud9 Fabrics, are optimistic that many crafters, quilters and sewers will join us in our beliefs, and value the importance of organic cotton and eco-sensible converting techniques.

The Little People

The holidays seem to be geared around the little people - the kids, grandkids, etc. And while we like to make sure we get a key spot by the fire we do have to admit those little guys are fun.

What is extra fun is that we can dress them up. Check out these great patterns we have at the store:
