Cuties Cuties Cuties!!!

This week we have been busy once again designing new Cutie Patterns and creating new Cutie Packs.  As a reminder, these packs are made from brand new lines of fabric, including 16 Fat 1/8ths (9”x22”). By adding a background, borders and binding, many different patterns can be made using these packs.  We will continue to design this line of patterns that can be used with any Cutie Pack you choose!

This past Saturday we held our first Cutie Class. There was a huge attendance of customers who came to see the Cutie Demo and check out our new location in Pawling.

This week Cathy demoed the Rail Trail Pattern which is a Christmas Table Runner and 4 Placemats. We created our sample using the Moda Winter Wonderland Line, which is available on our website.But remember this pattern can be made using any of our Cutie Packs.  We look forward to seeing the many variations created by our customers!

Everyone who attended had a blast and we look forward to the next one! We never know ahead of time what Cathy may be demoing, so each month it will be a big surprise.

These Cutie Classes are held once a month at our new store located in Pawling.   
All Cutie classes include a demo from 10 am-11 am.  $5.00 per class

Additional dates scheduled are October 18th, November 15th, and December 13th.

We are Back!!!

Welcome back to the Quilt Basket Blog!

Many of you have probably been wondering where we have been for the last couple of months, I know my sister-in-law hasJ!!  We did complete the move of our physical store from Wappinger Falls to Pawling, NY. We did officially open our doors a couple of weeks ago and will be holding our Grand Opening on September 20^th and 21^st.

Not only have we been busy moving, setting up and organizing our new store but have been receiving lots of brand new lines of fabric! We are working on using these new lines in many different patterns and cannot wait to share them with you! Some of our new lines include Flirt, Seaworthy and Emerson by Dear Stella, Snowbird by Moda and Birch Farm by Joel Dewberry.  These are all available on our website.

I am currently working on the sample for our Block of the Month in January by Violet Craft which will also be available on our website. 

Finally we have been busy creating our new packaging of fabrics and patterns.  We are designing a “Cutie” package of 16 Fat 1/8^th’s (9X22) from the newest lines available.  We are designing our own patterns for these packages and hope to have the cutie patterns and kits available on our website soon.  All of the patterns are designed that ANY Cutie Pack of Fabric can be used with ANY Cutie Pattern. 

As you can see we have been busy designing, creating and planning lots of new projects.
