A Jigsaw for Every Age

In between helping her daughter with her new house, helping plan her sons wedding, preparing for her first grandchild and running a business, Cathy had time to make a new quilt! It is a Japanese Jigsaw Quilt.

The clever layout gives an almost optical illusion
The overlap on the 'block' is what adds to the illusion

"There are no extra pieces in the universe. Everyone is here because he or she has a place to fill, and every piece must fit itself into the big jigsaw puzzle." ~ Deepak Chopra

Fall Retreat Rocked!

We had another wonderful retreat last week. Debby Brown was at her finest; teaching, helping, suggesting, and just plain having fun.

Ok the whole retreat was not about food, but we do love Brian Geiger Catering!

Beginnings and Endings

Cathy's son and daughter-in-law had their baby shower this weekend. Cathy made two quilts, one for the baby's room and one for Aric's car. Aric was a big Sesame Street fan when he was growing up and Cathy decided to continue the tradition.

We just finished up the Glacier Star classes this weekend. Below are some of the quilts our students made. To see them up close and personal, be sure to come to our Open House the first weekend in December. The quilts will be on display.
